July 18-22 in shades of grey

Vegas was extraordinary. Long, treacherous and exhausting! The 4 days that we were there were just magical. I loved Vegas, so much to see, but after the four days it was a pleasant memory to lay in my own bed and in my own home. I've spent most of monday recovering, watched The Dark Knight Rises and pushed through my fatigue and worked out! I've actually been doing fairly well despite being extremely tired this week. I only missed thursday due to the fact that i visited my grandmother who just had recurrent knee surgery. She is doing well oh may I mention and so am I. My body is grateful for keeping it active. Haven't felt in better spirits now in for seems like ages! Anywho..On my flight back to Texas I bought myself a little book called 50 Shades of Grey. Oh, I know you may be rolling your eyes; and believe me so was I! I refused to read it for weeks, just because it had so much wonder and blah blah blah publicity, but damn...now I know why some men in Ohio are burning the book. No really. It's exactly what is missing in the affair that is meant to happen between you and your spouse or significant other. Instead of men wailing over their wives being so involved with the book, they should say "Put that book down until tommorow if not I am going to spank you"... **if you've read the book you can relate; if not I'm giving a tiny morsel of what the book is about.... Which brings me to my next point. There has been so much hype and rumors about the filming of 50 shades of grey and all I can say that I am fearful what a production set will do to this book. They will slaughter it under a measly rated r movie can handle. I assume that is all they can do before categorizing it a Porno...Other hypes incluede the cast and I am completely convinced that this is the perfect pair!... P.S I'm down to the last chapters of the first book, only after one week...

Haha, that's awesome you've gotten that far in only a week! :) I have a co-worker who's trying to get me to read it, haven't yet though.
ps. Thanks for stopping by my blog! to answer your question, I'm a nurse on the CVICU unit at the moment, just did 2 years on Telemetry. I admire your ability to be an oncology nurse! Do you think you'll stay there?

I've been doing this for about three years now and I am completely in love. So rewarding.

My other love is food, so I am hoping to specialize in something with nutrition. Not too sure yet! I'll see where school takes me...

Loved your blog by the way!
