Sunny days, the cosmos, coffee buzzes, makeup, pizza slices, eggs, and cheese are a must! A humanist, foodie, beer enthusiast, pacifist, and a hospice RN I am!

The bitterness lingers....
The release of the photos of these chidren, makes the truth even harder to swallow. The bitterness doesn't leave my mouth...I am not a mother, but if I feel pain, what kind of agony are the parents feeling? How could this have happened? Something must be done. I am not sure if stricter gun control will fix the problem, but regardless I am not angry or upset if something is done. We own a shotgun that my husband uses for hunting purposes. You see we live in Texas, where hunting is a big thing. Even my husband is in agreeance that something needs to be done. Doing nothing would just confirm that we are accepting this tragedy. This is not acceptable. We cannot live like this. With that, I leave you with this...

Where has humanity gone?
I just can't stop looking at the pictures...feeling the agony and pain in my heart. I can't swallow the truth that these children are really gone; that their parents will have empty bedrooms and empty arms. The pain is unbearable...how could this happen?
